Since 1966, the International Poetry Forum has made recordings of our events available to the public for free.

The archives of our independent, Pittsburgh-based nonprofit reading series contain recordings by some of the world’s most celebrated poets and performers, including Seamus Heaney, Gwendolyn Brooks, Mary Oliver, Chinua Achebe, Jorge Luis Borges, W.H. Auden, Lucille Clifton, Grace Kelly, Gregory Peck, James Earl Jones, Danny Glover, Queen Noor of Jordan, and hundreds more.

Audio recordings and other materials from the Samuel Hazo era of the International Poetry Forum (1966–2009) were donated to our friends at Carlow University in Pittsburgh, who manage the historic archive covering that 43-year period.

Video recordings and educational resources from the post-Hazo era are accessible on the International Poetry Forum’s Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube channels, which have engaged millions of viewers worldwide.
